    ""Presenting analogies with the famous Kobe beef in Japan. Coutancie beef in the Périgord vert is of exceptional quality. As in the past, this beef is raised in the meadows until it is ripe, then "finished" on the farm. He is then fed only on the basis of fodder and cereals, and drinks 3 liters of beer daily (to obtain marbled meat) and receives special care: comfortably installed in a cubicle, it is massaged twice a day for 20 'to that the fat diffuses harmoniously in the muscle. A rarity among rarities, this beef comes from a single farm, the Domaine de Coutancie, located in Saint-Priest-les-Fougères.It is not a specific breed, since the animals intended for this label are either Limousines or Blondes d'Aquitaine, but a precise method of production and finishing of oxen, sanctioned by a jury which awards or not the illustrated distinction.
